The text you type never leaves your device

Every conversion on this site runs in your browser using JavaScript. The text you enter into the generator, and the symbols you copy, are never transmitted to us and never stored. There is no server-side processing of your input, because there is no server doing the conversion — the page you loaded does all of it.

No accounts, no profiles

There is no sign-up, no login and no newsletter. We set no cookies of our own, and we build no profile of you. Preferences such as pinned favourites are stored in your browser's local storage, stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. We do measure page views, in the cookieless way described below.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and your browser's user agent, in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. This is necessary for operating the site and rests on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare acts as a processor under a data processing agreement.

Measurement

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are used. It works without cookies and without fingerprinting: nothing is written to your device and nothing is read from it, so there is no identifier that could follow you between visits or between sites. What is recorded is the page requested, the referring page, loading times, and the browser, operating system and country derived from the request itself. Individual visitors are not identified, and we cannot recognise a returning visitor.

Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, this measurement does not require consent under § 25 TDDDG. The remaining processing rests on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in understanding whether the site works and which pages are worth maintaining. Cloudflare acts as a processor under a data processing agreement. You can object to this processing at any time by writing to info@pastefont.com.

Advertising

We display advertising through Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to show ads and to measure their performance. Where personalised advertising is used, that happens only on the basis of your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give or refuse in the consent banner and can change at any time.

Google may transfer data to servers in the United States. You can review and adjust the advertising settings on your Google account at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of personalised advertising across participating providers at optout.aboutads.info. Google's own privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for our registered office, that is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg.
