Fancy Text Generator

Type your text and copy it in 26 styles. The characters work in bios, name fields and messages โ€” anywhere Unicode is allowed.

Converted right here in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, nothing is stored.

A note on screen readers

These styles are not fonts. They are separate Unicode characters that merely look like formatted letters, so a screen reader does not treat them as ordinary text: depending on the software they are spelled out character by character, announced by their technical names, or skipped altogether. Use them sparingly, and never for content that has to be understood. Full explanation.

How this actually works

These styles are not fonts. A font is chosen by the website or app you are using โ€” you cannot change it inside someone else's profile. What happens here is different: alongside the ordinary alphabet, Unicode contains further character sets that look like formatted letters. The bold ๐€ is not the letter A in bold, it is a character of its own with its own number in the Unicode standard.

That is why the style survives when you paste the text somewhere: you are not copying formatting, you are copying different characters. It is also why there are gaps โ€” italic, for instance, has no numerals of its own, so digits stay plain.

Symbols rather than letters?

If you want a symbol beside your text rather than the text itself restyled โ€” a heart, a star, an arrow, a bullet point โ€” those are a different set of characters. Copy and paste symbols covers 20 categories, with text symbols and emoji listed separately because they behave differently in a bio.

Decorating a name?

The aesthetic style works by framing words, not by single characters. The text decorator puts your own text inside 20 frames at once โ€” every other page hands you a fixed string you then have to take apart.

Writing a whole bio?

The bio builder lets you style each line separately, drop symbols in between, and watch the character count against the real limit for your platform โ€” including the part most tools get wrong, that combining styles cost twice what they look like.

Common questions

Is this a font I can download?
No, and that is the point. A font has to be installed on the device that displays the text, so it cannot travel with a copied string. These styles are separate Unicode characters that merely look like formatted letters, which is why the appearance survives being pasted into someone else's bio.
Why does my text turn back into normal letters?
Many systems apply Unicode NFKC normalisation, a standard cleanup step that maps these characters back to ordinary ones. Search indexes and username checks do it deliberately, so two accounts cannot look identical. Nothing on the text side prevents it, because the mapping is part of the Unicode standard.
Does it work on Instagram, TikTok and Discord?
In bios, display names and messages, yes. In the @username, no โ€” those fields accept only letters, numbers and a couple of punctuation marks on every major platform. The per-platform pages list the exact character limits and which fields accept styled text.
Is it free, and do you store what I type?
Free, with no account. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, so your text is never sent to a server and never stored.
