Text Decorator
Type a name or a line and get it framed in 20 ways. Other pages hand you a fixed string like ꒰ ⋆ ꒱ that you then have to take apart and paste your own words into. This one builds the frame around your text.
Tap any line to copy it. Nothing leaves your browser.

Dividers and flourishes
These stand on their own — a line between two sections of a bio, or a flourish under a name. No text goes inside them.

How this style is actually built
The aesthetic bio style is not one character, it is a pattern: something small and symmetrical on each side of the words, usually a bracket, a sparkle or a pair of wings. The characters come from wherever a matching shape existed — ꒰ and ꒱ are Japanese half-width brackets, ʚ and ɞ are phonetic letters, ୨ and ୧ are Oriya digits. None of them were designed for this.
That is also why the effect is fragile. Those characters sit in parts of Unicode that many fonts skip, and a name field that checks for mixed scripts will reject a frame built from four different writing systems. The cute symbols page lists the individual characters, and the four ways they break covers what goes wrong.
These are not fonts, they are separate Unicode characters. Screen readers often read them wrong or skip them entirely. What that means.
Common questions
- Why does the frame show as empty boxes for some people?
- Their font does not cover those characters. Frames built from Japanese brackets, Oriya digits or phonetic letters are the first to fail, most often on older Android devices. Plainer frames made of asterisks, dots and arrows survive nearly everywhere.
- Can I use a decorated name as my username?
- In display names usually yes, in the @username never — every major platform limits those to letters, numbers and a couple of punctuation marks. Some platforms also reject display names that mix several writing systems, which these frames do by their nature.
- Do these count against my bio character limit?
- Yes, every character does, and the frames are longer than they look — several are six to twelve characters on their own. The <a href="/bio-builder/">bio builder</a> counts the whole thing against the real limit for your platform.
