Where these characters come from
The negative circled letters were encoded as symbols rather than as a writing system, and only capitals exist. Lowercase input is therefore raised to capitals here — no tool can do otherwise, because the characters simply were never encoded.
What people use bubble filled text for
Filled circles read much louder than outlined ones and are used as attention markers rather than as text — one or two characters at the start of a line. Since only capitals exist, this style cannot carry a sentence in mixed case.

How to get bubble filled text
- Type or paste your words into the box above.
- Find the Bubble Filled row — it is the first one — and press Copy.
- Paste it wherever you need it. The style travels with the text, because you are carrying different characters rather than formatting.
Nothing is installed and nothing is sent anywhere. If the text arrives plain instead of styled, the receiving field normalised it; that happens for a specific reason and no tool can prevent it.
The same thing goes by several names — black bubble text, negative circled — and they all describe this one technique. There is no settled term, because nobody named these character sets for this purpose in the first place.

Bubble Filled vs Bubble
The outlined version keeps lowercase letters and digits, which the filled version lacks entirely. If your text has mixed case or numbers, the outlined Bubble style is the only one of the two that can represent it.

Known problems with bubble filled text
Only capitals exist, so any lowercase in your text is silently raised — if case matters, this style cannot carry it.
These characters fail in four distinct ways across all styles — normalisation, missing font coverage, stripped combining marks and mixed-script rejection.
These are not fonts, they are separate Unicode characters. Screen readers often read them wrong or skip them entirely. What that means.
Where bubble filled text is commonly used
Common questions
- Is bubble filled text a real font?
- No. These are separate Unicode characters that happen to look bubble filled. That is why the look survives copy and paste: you are not copying formatting, you are copying different characters.
- Will screen readers read this correctly?
- Usually not. Depending on the software the characters are spelled out with technical names or skipped entirely. Use the style for decoration, not for anything that has to be understood.
